I live in Richardson. I've been in Honda/Toyota new and used sales for 9 years.
In the process of applying for my TDL. McKinney location.
My question is do I need insurance for my 2-3 cars starting out. Not counting my 2 yr surety bond required in our state. 25K ie: When I get the cars state inspected. (inspector will need proof of insurance.)

You might want to check out http://www.texasdealerlicense.com.
Texas does not require insurance which BLOWS my mind in all honesty. Do you have the cash to 'self insure'. It is a risk question only you can answer.
Don't buy cars that need an inspection.

My wife and I want to start buying and selling Harleys. Does your training help, at all, with the motorcycle trade? We live in Texas and realize that we can sell 8 vehicles total without a license, its the dang taxes I want to avoid but know we can't

I do not provide specific motorcycle information. I HAVE bought & sold motorcycles for profit BUT more from a standpoint of it being FUN.
My information is more geared towards cars & trucks.
